Beta update: notifications you choose, team statistics, and practice plans you can rearrange

This is the second batch of changes since beta testing opened. Everything below is live now, and most of it came from what testers asked for. You decide, if it is what you wanted! Now every account picks what it wants to hear about: there are twenty kinds of notification — a new event, someone answering one, a published line-up, and so on — and each one is a switch. You are asked once, the first time you sign in, and you can change your answers at any time under Settings. Two things are worth knowing. You won’t get any notifications about something you did yourself. And you only hear about a kind you have switched on. When a coach publishes something, the team hears about it Publishing notes, a timetable, results, a roster or a line-up now reaches every member of the team. This one is on from the start, so nobody has to turn anything on to be told. Events can open and close for answering Answering an event now has a window. A team sets when it opens and when it closes, counted in hours before the event starts — you will find Registration settings on the team page — and a single event can use different times if you want. Outside the window a player cannot answer. A coach always can. An answer someone already gave stays theirs to change or withdraw, even if a window is added later. Two new team settings go with it: - As an option everyone registered by default, if team decides so. The responsibility lies with player not coming. This applies everywhere answers are read: the count on the event, the lists, the roster and the line-up picker. - Also as an option team can hide participants. Players and guardians see how many are coming, but not who. And the bell helps with the window: it tells the team when answering opens, reminds the people who still have not answered, and gives a warning the day before answering closes. When a player you have already picked cancels If a player who is in the roster changes their answer to no or maybe, you will see it without looking for it. The row turns red for a no and amber for a maybe, in the editor and in the published roster alike. The roster tab shows a red mark with a count before you even open it. And coaches get a notification about it, so you can hear about a cancellation without checking every ordinary reply. A season view for coaches The team page has a new Statistics tab for coaches and staff. Pick a date range and it tells you how many practices were held, how many minutes were planned against how much practice time there actually was, how many drills were run, how those minutes divide between themes and between phases, and which library drills come back most often. Rearranging a practice plan Previously drills and phases could not be moved at all. Now every phase and every drill has a handle you can drag. A drill can be dragged from one phase to another. The same works in the template editor in the Tactical Book. Copying a drill or a phase Making a variation of a drill meant writing it again by hand. There is now Copy in the three-dot menu, for drills and for phases, in an event's practice plan and in the Tactical Book's template editor. The copy appears right below the original. A copy gets a tactical board of its own, so you can redraw it without changing the drill you copied it from. The description, the duration and the link to the library drill it came from all come along. Small fixes In English the app called the same two features by two names: the menu said Tactical Book and Tactical Board while some sentences said "tactic book" and "tactic board".
