Tactye is a coaching tool for football, basketball, ice hockey and floorball. Draw formations and passing sequences on a tactical board, animate them phase by phase, build practice plans from templates, set the line-up for every game, and print or publish any of it to your players. The tactical board is free to use in open beta — you just need to register.

Every sport gets its own pitch, court, rink or hall with the correct markings, position labels and preset formations. Place home and away teams on the same board, draw movement, dribbling and passing lines, then record the play in phases and replay it at the speed you want.

Two jobs cover most of a coaching year: setting up the weekly practice calendar for a whole season, and running a tournament or camp weekend where several games happen in one day. Both are below, step by step.
Setting up a season of weekly practices
How do I set up weekly practice times?
Add the sessions for one week to the team calendar, at the days and times you actually train.
How do I copy practice times across the season?
Copy Event repeats a session weekly — up to 26 copies at a time — and the copies form one series you can edit or cancel in a single go.
Can I build a practice plan from a template?
Start from a saved template, adjust the drills and their durations, and attach the boards each one needs.
Where are my drills and practice plans saved?
In the tactical book: your team's boards, individual drills and saved plan templates, all in one place.
Running a tournament or camp day
How do I schedule a tournament with several games?
One event holds a sub-timetable, split into tracks so each group can run its own thing at the same time.
How do I build the line-up for a game?
Seat the squad you brought into starting lines, special-teams lines and your own saved formations, so playing time lands where you promised.
Where do I add game notes and results?
A game, tournament or camp event has its own Notes and Results tabs. The standings or the match schedule go into Notes as a link.
Who can see a line-up before it is published?
Marking it ready shows it to the coaching staff only. Players see it when you publish.
Can other coaches in the club use our drills and plans?
Yes. The boards, drills and plan templates a team publishes are there for every coach in the club. A session that worked for the U15s is there for the U12 coach the following week, and the playbook stays with the club when a coach moves on.
Coach questions about Tactye
Do I have to register to use the tactical board?
Yes — registering is free and takes a minute. There is no card and no trial clock. After that the tactical board, its animation and every printout are free to use.
Which sports does Tactye support?
Football, basketball, ice hockey and floorball, each with its own pitch markings, position labels and preset formations.
How long does it take to learn?
About two minutes for the board itself: pick a formation, drag players, draw a pass, press record. No design skills needed, and everything prints.
What does Tactye cost?
The tactical board is free during the open beta, and prices for the full coaching tool are published at launch in the autumn. Give feedback through the form in your profile menu and, when you take out a subscription, you get one extra month of it free.
Can I print my boards and line-ups?
Every board, event roster, line-up, practice plan and schedule has its own print sheet, and the printout saves as a PDF straight from the browser.
